About us
The National Centre is a fitness organisation tailored to inclusive and accessible practice. We believe in supporting individuals from all backgrounds, ages and abilities especially those who may have had negative previous experiences with fitness and exercise and/or haven’t been active for a while.
In the past 5 years our focus has grown to support women’s health and fitness through boxing, boxfit, self-defence classes and one-to-one training. We also empower women and girls through workshops and programmes by working with partner organizations in the community such as charities and schools.

A message from the founder
Hi, my name is Yasmin and I founded the National Centre for Health and Fitness in 2020 to offer people self-defence training and fitness services. What evolved was a place where woman came and thrived in an environment which is safe, supportive and encourages fun and dynamic ways of learning life skills. It is place where women leave feeling good about themselves physically, emotionally and mentally. These are the principles I live by and ensure are present throughout your journey!
GROUP FITNESS

Try one of our fitness classes where you can train and have fun with others in a supportive and welcoming space.
TRAINING FOR WOMEN

We have ladies-only classes and female trainers to ensure you are in an environment where you feel comfortable and confident.
PERSONAL TRAINING

We have professional and qualified trainers who offer one-to-one, couples and group personal training services. This includes fitness coaching and nutrition advice to support you to reach your goals.
PARTNERSHIP WORKING

We pride ourselves in working with a range of partners such as organisations, schools, charities and workplaces to provide a variety of engaging workshops, sessions and bespoke courses.
