These are the terms and conditions of membership at The National Centre for Health and Fitness:
- To participate in any activities at The National Centre for Health and Fitness an up to date Par-Q form must be completed. It is the participant/ member’s obligation and responsibility to keep the staff at The National Centre for Health and Fitness up-to-date and informed of any changes.
- By participating in any activities at The National Centre for Health and Fitness the participant/ member does so at their own risk, and they waive the right to any legal recourse for damages to themselves or their property arising from participation.
- The staff at The National Centre for Health and Fitness have the right to terminate any membership at their discretion, and the former participant/ member is liable to pay any outstanding fees deemed appropriate by the staff.
- Monthly membership of classes runs from the 1st to the last day of the month (28/29/30/31) regardless of when payment is taken or how many classes you have attended. For example, if your membership started on 15 June and you only attended one class on 6 July, you will be liable to pay for both the June and July monthly membership fee.
- The participant/ member must pay any outstanding payments stipulated by the staff of the National Centre for Health and Fitness.
- There is a cost to trial a class. The free trial is no longer valid and any advertising material which states this is void.
- The cost of a trial class is paid in addition to the membership fee for that month, regardless of when in the month you signed up or how many classes you could attend due to the time of the month.
- Membership cannot be paused if the participant/ member are unable to make classes, unless under exceptional circumstances such as a severe injury which prevents the participant/ member from participating, and they can provide a medical or doctors note, or death in the family.
- Membership that has been paused is subject to the participant/ member being liable to pay the next month’s membership fee.
- After joining you are contractually obliged to commit to at least 6 months membership, and you will not be able to pause or cancel membership unless exceptional circumstances can be proven in point number 8.
- If you cancel your membership within 6 months of starting your membership, you are required to pay one month’s notice i.e. if you cancel your membership in June, you are eligible to pay for July’s membership fee, in addition to June.
- If you cancel your membership in the year that you join, the member/ participant is required to pay a joining fee.
- The participant/ member named on the membership is the only one who can attend classes or courses at The National Centre for Health and Fitness. Paid classes/ courses cannot be transferred to someone else.
